In this lecture, Nigel will be taking you through the skills and techniques, that are required to Saddle Stitch leatherwork. Techniques that will take your Saddle Stitching to a new level.
You will learn how you can improve your Saddle Stitching skills to a high standard. As well as talking through, step by step, the how and the why to stitch his way, Nigel will be demonstrating these techniques all through the lecture, so bring a note pad and pencil with you. You may even get to have a go.
PLEASE NOTE
• No video, but photos can be taken at the end
Students are advised to bring along the following items:
• A pen/pencil and paper/notebook, so that you can take notes for future reference.

Join Nigel Armitage from Armitage Leather Ltd, in a series of special lectures about Leatherwork. Nigel Armitage has been a leatherworker for over 35 years. Although trained in the traditional style of Leatherwork and saddlery, he gravitated to making bespoke handmade leather goods and for the last 15 years and more, he has been teaching both in the UK and abroad, passing on his skills and knowledge to the next generation.
