Please note the cap diameter is the same - the size refers only to the post length.
These wider rivets offer a 13mm (1/2") diameter cap for more impact on leather work projects. Made from steel and plated in a choice of finishes which are all nickel-free, these rivets have a cap at either end so they look attractive from both sides.
To determine which size rivet you need, allow for 1-2mm of the post to show outside the layers of leather to get a good fix.
The post dimension of the rivet is approximately 2-3mm so use size 2 punch from the Mini Punch Set 3003-00 or 3240-00 Deluxe Rotary Punch or 3777-02 drive punch. To set the rivets you will need 8100-11 wide rivet setter with anvil.
