Traditional style wood edge slicker for use with vegetable tanned leather to aid in burnishing and sealing the fibres on edges.
For best results use with Gum Tragacanth.
This traditional wooden handtool is designed for comfort and speed when slicking edges on vegetable tanned leathers and to slick and polish up edge finishes and edge coats. With four grooved channels for leather edge thicknesses from 3mm (1/8") to 6mm (1/4"). The rounded end can be used for creasing and folding leather and rolling over stitches.
